Congratulations on one year at MTV!

We try to push back the negative anniversaries in our minds. My grandmother died a year ago this past week. I was so caught up in life that I almost forgot. I knew my mom needed family more this week, and that's important to me.
Days are significant to me when they deeply affect those I care about, either positively or negatively.

Agreeing with Whitney above, November is a month for thanks and I'm thankful for meeting you this year!

Wowza dude - excellent post tying together so many different facets of life (not Facts of Life, though equally awesome).

I'm with you on the little triggers and especially the little mundane pieces of a day that make you realize whether or not you're generally happy with yourself/life. It's those little things that always add up into the big momentum, life changing things that we get the pleasure of reflecting upon in times like this.

It's also for that reason as well that I always love to live by the motto of "Small moves." (kinda sorta stolen from movie Contact). Sounds like you have a ton of small moves to celebrate here - so mazol mazol to ya.

Congratulations on one year at MTV!

November is quite a substantial month in the universe for incredible lives lost. But it is also the month for thanks. We have pretty much no control over where life will take us, who will influence and affect us, and what will happen in the world around us. There is sorrow and disappointment and fear. But despite it all, we persevere. Friendship wins, and this Thanksgiving I am wildly thankful to call you my friend.
